Dead simple: every case gives the project a score, and the project's reputation is the average of all its case scores. That's it.

The perfect case: the project answered in time and made it right.

Fixing the problem always pays the most โ even when the answer came slow.

Showing up counts. Answering in time earns points even without a fix โ being silent hurts more than being slow to fix.

No reply within 48 hours and no fix. A late reply without a fix also scores 0.
Every case asks the project two yes/no questions: did you reply within 48 hours? (worth 30 points) and did you solve it? (confirmed by the reporter, worth 70 points). Across all of a project's counted cases, those two questions become two rates:
๐ฌ Response rate โ the share of cases that got a first reply within 48 hours. It measures showing up: does the project face its users when something goes wrong?

Resolution rate โ the share of cases the reporter confirmed as Solved. It measures making it right: not just answering, but actually fixing the problem โ that's why it carries most of the weight.
Reputation = 70% ร resolution rate + 30% ร response rate
Example: a project solved 50% of its cases and replied on time to 80% of them โ 0.7 ร 50 + 0.3 ร 80 = 59 / 100. Same result as averaging the individual case scores โ it's the same formula, viewed two ways.
Which cases count: a case starts counting once the project has replied or its 48-hour reply window has closed. A fresh case still inside that window never moves the score, and a project with no counted cases has no score at all โ it shows โ instead of a number. Average reply time on project pages is shown for context only โ the score cares about the 48-hour window, not the exact hours.

Welcome to DegenCase. By accessing or using the platform you agree to these Terms. DegenCase is a public reputation and complaint platform for the Web3 ecosystem. We host user-generated content; we do not author cases and we are not a party to disputes between users and projects.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. Business accounts must represent the project they claim to act for.
2. User content & responsibility
You are solely responsible for the cases, evidence, comments, and content you submit. Only post content you believe to be true and have the right to share. Do not post:
- Knowingly false, defamatory, or misleading statements;
- Private personal data of individuals (doxxing), private keys, or seed phrases;
- Content that infringes intellectual property or confidentiality obligations;
- Market manipulation, coordinated brigading, or fabricated evidence.
3. No financial or investment advice
Reputation scores, moods, and cases are community-generated signals, not financial advice. DegenCase does not endorse any project and is not responsible for any trading, investment, or transfer decisions you make. Always do your own research.
4. Verification & business plans
Verification confirms control of a brand's domain or official channels; it is not an endorsement of conduct. Premium subscriptions ($99/month) grant the ability to respond to and resolve cases. Fees are billed in advance and non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Moderation
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or merge duplicate cases where our policies or applicable law require. Resolution requires the confirmation mechanics described in our scoring methodology.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DegenCase is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from user content or reliance on reputation signals.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the platform.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data DegenCase collects, how we use it, and your rights. We aim to collect the minimum necessary to run a public reputation platform.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email, display name, and (optionally) connected wallet address.
- Content: cases, evidence, comments, and backs you submit โ public by design.
- Usage data: device, browser, and interaction logs for security and analytics.
- Business data: verification proofs and billing details for premium subscriptions.
2. How we use data
To operate the platform, compute reputation scores, prevent abuse and fraud, process payments, send notifications you opt into, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Public content & wallets
Cases and connected wallet addresses are publicly visible. On-chain data is inherently public. Do not include sensitive personal information in case text or evidence.
4. Sharing
We share data with payment processors, infrastructure providers, and analytics tools under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (incl. GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data. Public cases may be retained where there is a legitimate interest or legal requirement.

We use essential cookies for sessions and optional analytics cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner.

Content & Case Policy
DegenCase works because cases are honest and evidence-backed. These rules keep the platform credible and protect everyone โ reporters and projects alike.
What makes a good case
- A clear, specific title and factual description of what happened.
- Evidence: screenshots, transaction hashes, documents, or links.
- A genuine resolution you're seeking from the project.
Not allowed
- Defamation: stating false facts as truth to damage a project.
- Doxxing: publishing private personal information about individuals.
- Brigading: coordinating mass cases or fake backs.
- Extortion: demanding payment to remove a case.
- Manipulation: filing cases to move a token price.
Right of reply
Verified projects can respond to every case about them. The public record should include both sides. Marking a case solved requires the original reporter's confirmation.
Reporting & appeals
Anyone can flag a case for review. Projects can appeal cases they believe violate this policy. Our moderation team reviews flags against these rules, not based on who is paying.
